Tithing, or giving ten percent of our income, is a joyful response to the lavish generosity of God. Scripture teaches that all we have comes from God, and that as Christians we’re actually stewards of his good gifts. Cheerfully giving back to God some of what he’s given us teaches us to always put God first in our lives.
