Safe Church

Creating a Culture of Goodness

In a world where the vulnerable continue to be exploited, the Church must take action in safeguarding the physical, emotional and spiritual health of every person in its care. To help equip congregational leaders, we’ve adopted our Diocese’s solution to church-wide protection.

Part of our efforts to create a culture of goodness includes the following screening and training procedures for our clergy, staff, vestry members, and all volunteers.

Reporting Abuse or Misconduct

Diocesan Reporting Portal

If you need to file a report of abuse or misconduct, please visit our Diocesan Reporting Portal to contact the Diocesan Safety, Response, and Care Team.

Whistleblower Policy

The whistleblower policy provides a way for anyone who observes or experiences any type of sexual harassment, spiritual abuse, or any other kind of wrongdoing in a church setting, to know they can and should report it, and how to do so.

Child Protection Reporting Plan

We recognize that caring for our children and youth is a sacred trust. That’s why we’ve adopted a program to protect our children and youth from abuse.
