Safe Church

Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

Why it Matters

At Redeemer we’re building a Sanctuary of Renewal—a safe place to be reclaimed, restored, and repurposed by God. That we are a safe place is key to the work God does in and through us.

We are grateful to our diocese, Churches for the Sake of Others (C4SO), for providing this Sexual Harassment Prevention Training to help us continue to strengthen our culture of respect and goodness.

We especially resonate with an early remark in the training:

“At C4SO we believe it is our God given responsibility to take action in safeguarding the physical, emotional, and spiritual health of every person in our care.”

Romans 12:5 reminds us that, as members of Christ’s body, we belong to one another. It is our great privilege to guard the dignity of each member, treating one another with honor and respect.

For this reason, we ask all our staff, vestry, directors, and adult volunteers to complete this Sexual Harassment Prevention Training every year in January.

Thank you for all your good work helping to build our Sanctuary of Renewal!
